How it's done.

At So Cherished we want you to think of the ordering process as more of a journey. Each order is unique and bespoke and will be cherished for a lifetime, and there is nothing more satisfying for us than creating jewellery that will bring joy for many years to come.

Once you place your order we will either send you a print kit if you have ordered one, or you will need to send us a copy of any existing prints that you have and would like to use. Print kits are sent with full instructions and there is also an easy to follow video here to help you create the perfect fingerprint mould. Once we have received your prints we will begin manufacture as soon as possible.

All the jewellery we create is handmade in our Plymouth studio, and each step in creating your jewellery is carried out carefully and professionally.

All our jewellery is made from Precious Metal Clay. The scientific bit – silver powder is mixed with an organic plant based binder which burns off when fired, creating a solid piece of fine silver (99.9% pure) jewellery. We kiln fire all our pieces and this guarantees even firing and a strong piece of jewellery. Once fired your piece is completely hand finished, we don’t use polishing machines as we believe you get a superior finish on a hand polished piece.

Once complete your jewellery will be quality checked and packaged in our beautiful branded boxes and sent to you via recorded delivery.
